McKinnon Unite All in their Clash of the Clubs “midnight madness”

McKinnon hosted their second annual Clash of the Clubs night similar to the college “Midnight Madness”; the night is essentially to unite their Big V senior players with the domestic members.

The evening was MC’d by SCM Head Coach Justin Nelson. All senior players are allocated to a domestic club for the season and on the night join the club committee for a half court 5 on 5 Round Robin competition which entertained a large crowd. The round robin was won by Moorabbin Magic in an OT game. There were dribbling competitions, 2 ball knock out with the winner receiving a replica McKinnon Big V singlet with the name of their favourite senior player, and a Presidents Shoot Out won by The Warriors.

The members could have photos with their idols in the photo booth and enjoy food from a food truck and ice-cream from Mr Whippy.

The evening was once again a huge success with a great atmosphere and support for the clubs, which will garner support for all four senior teams as they start the season next month.
